I hope you are staying safe and healthy during this hard time. Our hearts go out to you if you have been impacted financially or health wise because of COVID 19.
We have been taking precautions to help keep our volunteers healthy by pausing tours and new volunteers and limiting exposure of current volunteers at this time.
We have been trying to delay cancelling our Help a Horse Day due to the fact that it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. But after watching everything happening around us, with great sadness we have to cancel. We want to insure the health and safety of our volunteers as well as everyone coming out to show their support.
This is a very scary time for us here at IHRWC with the financial loss of 3 fundraising events (Chicagoland Family Pet Expo, The Serendipity Sale, and now Help a Horse Day).
