Help Save Pegasus

Wow is all I can say for this poor boy! We have giving him the name Pegasus. He was found on the side of the road in a small town called Beecher. We don’t know much about this pretty boy but want to share what we do know. Somehow, Pegasus tail was injured causing it to be severed, approximately a week ago by the Vets exam. His age was determined to be approximately 15 years old, he has been scaled at a 3, which means a little underweight for those of you that aren’t familiar with scaling. He has several minor scraps all over his body. Despite everything this big boy has been through, he has a very sweet and quiet personality. IHRWC has plans for a healthy diet including fresh green hay, grain and supplements. Pegasus will be staying in a fresh soft bedded stall, with volunteers attending to his tail multiple times a day, along with the proper medications, to prevent infection. Once he’s feeling better we will have the farrier out to trim his hoofs. As always, the expense of bring him back to health is a concern but thanks to donors like YOU, we know it will work out!   WON’T YOU PLEASE HELP US HEAL PEGASUS, BY SPONSORING HIS RECOVERY TODAY?

UPDATE Pegasus is all healed up and ready for adoption. Call today to adopt him 708-258-3959.
