We currently have a 35 stall 11 pasture facility. This includes our main facility which houses 28 horses as well as our quarantine facilities which are able to house an additional 7 horses. After being rescued, the horses and other animals are initially housed and evaluated in one of our quarantine facilities. Medical attention is provided and an individualized care plan is developed. After recovery, each animal is then reevaluated for transfer to our main facility where they can be placed for adoption or become involved in one or more of our available programs.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and do not receive any state or government funding at all. Our organization is run solely on donations from the kind and generous people who care about the animals we save. Our staff is made up entirely of volunteers. This allows all donations to directly benefit our rescue animals! Our budget is for the animals we rescue; their medical attention, food, bedding, maintaining the rescue facility and the development of educational/therapeutic programs with local schools and charities.
