Read feedback from some of our program participants:
"Our students have many varying abilities and many times work best with hands-on experiences. Volunteering at Illinois Horse Rescue of Will County has helped our students, who have limited vocational experience, a chance to go beyond
themselves and learn new skills. Illinois Horse Rescue provides students with a chance to learn new work skills and develop appropriate work habits in a calm, non-threatening
environment. " - Christine S., JOBS2 Program, Bremen High School
"Since partnering with Illinois Horse Rescue of Will County, PRIDE has seen an improvement in the students who have accessed this opportunity and an overall decrease in negative behavior. Students look forward to the monthly trips to the farm and the opportunities to work with staff there." - Keith H.,Tinley Park PRIDE Program, Tinley Park High School
